INGREDIENTS:
HOW TO MAKE:
Brown ground turkey breast or hamburger in a skillet. Drain grease and dump into a colander (i.e. strainer), and rinse with warm water. Put back in skillet.
While browning ground turkey, follow directions to cook whole wheat pasta. Use the serving size listed on the box and don't make more than the 4 servings. It's easy to eat too much pasta. Don't overcook. When cooked, add to ground turkey along with cottage cheese and about 1/2 cup sauce. Mix thoroughly.
Serve with a side of green beans. Makes 4 servings.
NOTES:
Try Salsa instead of tomato sauce. This can also be made without the meat, although that lowers the
protein content quite a bit. You can also use less cottage cheese with the meat, if you prefer.
