HOW TO MAKE:
Makes 3 servings.
This makes a quick, light meal. Drain two cans of tuna and spoon tuna in a bowl. Add two egg whites and a generous amount of Mrs. Dash. Mix thoroughly. Spoon into 3 patties in a Pam-sprayed skillet on medium heat. Cook until both sides are brown--it doesn't take long.
Serve on slice of toast with lettuce and tomato or by itself, with a salad on the side. Use salad dressing sparingly and choose either a olive oil-based dressing or fat-free creamy dressing.
NOTES:
Albacore is a whiter, drier tuna fish. I prefer its taste, but regular tuna is just fine too.
Tuna Burgers can be frozen, if needed, for future meals.
