HOW TO MAKE:
Stick fork in potatoes a few times on each side to allow them to cook more evenly. Microwave potatoes for 10 to 12 minutes. Check half-way through with a fork. When done, the potato should be soft and the fork should easily pierce it.
Stick a fork in the steak several times on both sides so it cooks more evenly. Sprinkle garlic powder and pepper on both sides (or other spices you prefer). Cook steak anyway you like it. It's great on an outdoor grill, if you got one. Or a George Foreman grill. Or a skillet.
1 piece of a steak, 1 baked potato, and a portion of broccoli/cauliflower makes 1 serving. Total servings for recipe: 4.
NOTES:
Although beef has a little higher fat content than chicken and turkey breasts, it still is a great source of protein, iron, B vitamins, zinc, etc. So, including beef in some of your meals is a good idea. Just watch your portion.
