This is a great all-over body stretch, but I really feel it in my sides. Put your left arm over your head and your right arm in front of your waist, as depicted. Bend at the waist to your right, keeping your legs straight and in a fixed position. Try to bring your left arm as far as you can over your body. Hold for 10 seconds. Switch arm positions so that your right arm is over your head and your left arm is in front of your waist. Now bend at the waist to your left and hold for 10 seconds. I like to warm-up before weight training with a few sets of these. |
